Happy Friday friends!  It's finally the freakin weekend!  Which means I will be hunting for some new pieces to paint with some new colors Country Chic sent me! I can't wait for y'all to see 😊

Today's piece is using one of Country Chic's colors from their Lustrum Collection called Peachy Keen.  It is the cutest color ever and I love how it looks on this piece!

(The paint used on this project was so kindly sent to me by Country Chic Paint, but all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own😊)

Wrapping Paper

So, when my mom was visiting we went on a little furniture hunt and she insisted I grab this little child's desk.  I had no idea what I was going to do with it...UNTIL I saw this cute peach color called Peachy Keen from Country Chic's new Lustrum Collection.

This little desk had a crackle effect on it so I needed to at least smooth the top and bigger surfaces of the desk and chair.  So I grabbed my trusty orbital sander and got to work.  I recommend doing this outside and not in the garage unless you want green dust E V E R Y W H E R E! LOL

My sander looked like Shrek threw up on it! That was a fun mess to clean up😂

After that was finally done, I wiped it down and got to painting!  As I said I used this pretty each color from Country Chic and I love it!

I gave it about 3 coats and let it dry completely before sealing it!

To seal this piece I used Country Chic's Toughcoat as always for extra water resistant protection!  I just brushed it on with a sponge brush and let it dry.  I did two coats of this!

The last step was adding the prettiest touch of wrapping paper.  I found this cute wrapping paper from  Marshall's and it was the perfect thing to use with this paint color!

To apply this to the inside, I just measured the area and cut it out of the paper.  I used Mod Podge to adhere it to the base and then also applied a coat of Mod Podge over the top to seal it!

And that's it!  This cute little desk is finished and I am so happy with how it turned out!  Let me know what you all think!

If you are looking for the perfect peachy coral color, this color from Country Chic Paint is the color for you!
