Hiiiiiiiii! I am back from my wedding weekend and from spending a couple of days with my new husband!😍 We seriously had the best day ever and we are so so so incredibly happy and greatful for everyone who came and celebrated our unconditional love with us this past Saturday!

The weather was perfect, Mike was perfect, everything was PERFECT! I am so (impatiently) waiting to see all of the magic our photographer Lauren created this past weekend!!  I also can't wait to share all of the details of our wedding with you guys once we get the pics back!

Alright, I could talk about my wedding all day but I should probably get into this pretty purple dresser makeover with some more pretty paint from Country Chic Paint!

This makeover was short and sweet, like a piece of cake ;) see what I did there?

I got this little dresser for just $10 because it was SO beat up, but nothing I couldn't handle.  I just grabbed my orbital sander and got to work.  I jsut kept sanding until it got basically to the original wood, and surprisingly it was super quick and easy.

I wiped off all the dust left behind with a tack cloth and got to painting.

I painted this piece with this pretty light mauve purple color called piece of cake!  I gave it about 3 coats and once that was all dry I sealed it with some clear wax.  I let it cure for a whole day and it was done!

I just added on some new white pretty knobs from Home Goods to finish it off!  I love getting new knobs from Home Goods because there are so many cute and unique options and they are SO affordable!

What do you guys think?  I think this would be perfect for a little girls nursery! 😍
