Affordable DIY Wooden Bead Garland & How To Style It

Friday, December 13, 2019

Woah! Not a furniture post?  How weird!  Today is a more exciting post because it is actually a diy! And even better, a Christmas DIY!

I love love love Christmas decor, but neutral Christmas decor with touches of red here and there.  But, Christmas decorations can be SO expensive and ya girl just doesn't have the coin for that.  Especially when she is supposed to be buying gifts. So that's where the DIYing comes in :)

Wood bead garland has been extremely trendy this year and of course it is right up my ally!  I searched and searched for a reasonably priced one to use on my tree but I had no luck unless it was only like 4ft long, which was not long enough.

So today I am going to teach you how I made my own affordable wood bead garland and also some ways you can style it in your home for Christmas!

AFFORDABLE WOODEN BEAD GARLAND

Supplies:

Scissors
Tape

Grab your supplies (I got mine off of Amazon) and decide on a pattern you want to follow.

My wood beads came with 4 different sizes so I just planned out how I wanted them to look and got started!

Tip: Wrap the end of your twine or string tightly with a piece of tape so it makes putting it through the holes of the beads easier!  I promise this will make your life so much easier!

All you have to do is add your beads until you reach your desires length and tie some knots or loops to the end of your garland to secure it.

And that's it!  It really was that simple and it costs a fraction of the price!

I ordered two packs of wood beads and so far I have made four strands of garland!  And I still have beads left over for some other fun DIYs (which will be coming soon ;)

I really enjoyed doing a diy post for you guys today and I plan to do a lot more of them in the new year!

Tips On Styling Your Garland For Christmas!

You can really place this pretty garland anywhere in your home and it will look amazing!

I used mine on my christmas tree and in my archway decor!
